John Jr's Mom urged John Jr and Hopsi to think about the future and to make plans. She said that envisioning a brighter or better future would allow John Jr and Hopsi to stay optimistic. 4. John Jr's Mom explained the types of hope. Material Hope, which is the sense of control when given the resources to deal with forces that affect everyday lives; Socractic Hope, which provides opportunities to question the unjust society; and Audacious Hope, which provides us strength through Christ , so we don't loose heart. The book of Isaiah in the Bible says we need to be Fearless and bold with our Audacious Hope. 5. John Jr found in the Bible the verse Romans 15:13 ~ "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." John Jr and Hopsi decided that they would always stay hopeful. They decided that they would start praying for a better tomorrow.

John Jr and Jade wanted to be more courageous like Jesus. 2..Jesus taught people not to fear but to be courageous because God is always with them.John Jr and Jade felt comfort in Jesus' teachings and decided to make a list on how to be more courageous. They felt it was courageous to try new things, talk to people they don't know, speaking up, falling down and still keep going, facing difficulties/challenges even when hard. doing things on their own, and being able to face discomfort or pain. John Jr and Jade decided to put those courageous ways into practice 4. Jesus praised John Jr and Jade for being so courageous and told them how pleased God was them.
