Once upon a time, a curious little girl named Linda went shopping with her mother and younger sister, Alice. On their way, they passed a beautiful courtyard filled with chickens pecking at the grass. Linda watched them with fascination and called out, "Ko-Ko!" The chickens turned to her, delighting the sisters and their mother. On their way back, Linda felt proud carrying the shopping receipt her mother had entrusted to her. She wanted to show the chickens that she was responsible. John Jr and Jade wanted more information about selflessness after reading the verse 1 Corinthians 13: "Selflessness is loving others, being patient and kind, and not being envious or rude." John Jr knew Jesus was showed selflessness. They knew that love Jrsus showed others sought nothing in return; he gave his time and energy freely to anyone who asked for it and plenty that didn't; he even humbled himself to the point of washing his friends' feet 2. John Jr and Jade thought of ways to be more selfless. They were going to try to Donate, Volunteer, Serve others: Compliment instead of criticize:, Empathize with others, and Practice active listening:. 3. John Jr and Jade reflected on the verse In Philippians 2:3-4 "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." The remembered Jesus teaching the principles of cultivating humility, putting love into action, serving others, actively listening, practicing empathy, giving freely, forgiving, praying for selflessness, and seeking accountability,. John Jr and Jade had a desire to be more like Jesus and started being more selfless in their lives.

When he tried to tell his friend Lulu, Lulu took Michii to see Kiki’s mother and asked for permission to go to the next village festival the following day. The next day, Kiki was still feeling sad, but he was surprised and happy when Lulu took him to enjoy lots of delicious snacks at other village’s festival. Kiki was happy. Kiki said that the world was beautiful and that they had to move forward with their hopes, such as the hope of being able to try other delicious snack variants in the future.

Prince Lancet and Princess Ashera, 5 year old twins, are playing in the forest and find a baby firedrake. A firedrake is a small cat sized lizard with wings that breaths fire. They spend the afternoon looking for his parents. They never find them and invite him to live with them. Lancet names him Drake.

A man comes home from a long day of work to find his wife and dogs aren't there. Then he sees that his wife has packed up their travel trailer for a trip with their three dogs. They drive into the night and arrive at a campground after dark, where they cook over a fire and go inside the camper to sleep. In the morning, they take the dogs for a walk and then go mountain biking.

Excited, she quickly opened the box. Inside was a soft, fluffy toy kitten with bright blue eyes and a tiny pink nose. “Meow!” It made a little sound when she hugged it. “Oh wow! It’s so cute! Thank you, Grandma!” Rithwika squealed with joy. Her parents turned on the laptop, and Grandma Smitha appeared on the screen, smiling warmly. “Happy Birthday, my dear Rithwika!” she said. “Do you like your gift?” “I love it, Grandma! I will name her Meow-Meow!” Rithwika giggled, cuddling the toy. Her friend clapped and said, “Meow-Meow is so cute! Soon, it was time for the birthday cake. It was the most beautiful cake Rithwika had ever seen—covered in tiny, playful kittens made of frosting! She clapped her hands happily and blew out the candles while everyone cheered. After cake and presents, Rithwika and her friend played with Meow-Meow. Even though Grandma Smitha was far away, she felt close to Rithwika through their video call. As the day ended, Rithwika hugged her kitten toy tightly and whispered, “This was the best birthday ever!” And with a happy heart, she fell asleep.
