Tuffy even went trick or Treating with Rusty. They became fast friends. As it turned out, Rusty's parents bought a house across town and they were moving soon. Rusty begged hjis parents to call tuffy;s owners and ask them if we could just keep him. Tuffy had a horrible growth growing out of his eye. Tuffy's owners said yes, Rusty could keep him and when they moved, they took Tuffy with them. Tuffy was just as happy as Rusty. It was a great friendship!

Once upon a time, there was a little turtle named Timmy. Timmy lived in a pond with many other animals. Timmy loved to swim, but he was very shy and scared of trying new things. One sunny day, Timmy saw some frogs hopping and playing near the pond. The frogs were jumping from one rock to another. It looked like so much fun! Timmy wanted to join them but felt too scared. Freddy smiled and said, "It's okay to be scared. We can practice together. I will help you." Timmy felt a little better. He decided to try. Freddy showed Timmy how to jump from one rock to the next. Timmy was very careful and made a small jump. He wobbled a bit but landed safely. "Great job, Timmy!" cheered Freddy. "Now, let's try another jump." Timmy tried again. Each jump made him feel braver. Soon, Timmy was jumping from rock to rock just like the frogs. He was having so much fun! By the end of the day, Timmy felt very proud. He had tried something new and discovered it wasn't so scary after all. Timmy thanked Freddy for his help. From that day on, Timmy was no longer afraid to try new things. He learned that being brave means trying even when you feel scared. Lesson: Being brave means trying new things, even when you feel scared.

Etisha and Mishika met on Tuesday, 1 March 2022. Two days later, Mishika went to invite her new neighbour for her birthday party. She was made to by her mother who said, “You must invite Etisha since she is new. She can make new friends.” And she did. Mishika and Etisha were inseparable since that day! What bonded them was a hamster. When Mishika went to Etisha’s house, she saw her out in the garden chasing a tiny brown hamster. To her surprise, Etisha shouted at her, “Will you just stand there and stare or you might want to help too. Come and get this little thing.” Soon, both Etisha and Mishika were running around a tiny cinnamon-coloured hamster. Finally, both managed to corner the little guy and put him in a box. “What exactly were you doing? And how come your hamster came out of the house?”, asked Mishika in between her breaths.

The queen called a grand meeting of the island’s creatures to find out what was wrong. Among the crowd, a brave young girl named Taffy stood up. She was a candy cane girl with a heart as sweet as sugar. Her courage was immense, and she was always the first to volunteer when help was needed. “I’ll go, Your Majesty!” Taffy said with determination. “I’ll find out what’s causing the island’s magic to fade, and I’ll fix it!” Queen Caramelina smiled warmly at Taffy. “You are brave. Take this golden candy wrapper. It will help guide you on your journey.” Finally, after a long journey, Taffy arrived at the heart of Candy Island the Sugar Crystal Cave, where the magic of the island was born. Inside the cave, a giant Sugar Crystal stood, glowing with a soft, radiant light. This crystal was the source of the entire island’s sweetness. But when Taffy approached it, she gasped in surprise. The crystal was dim, its glow fading, and around it was a dark, swirling mist. “What is this?” Taffy whispered, her heart sinking. She knew she had to do something to save Candy Island. Taffy’s eyes widened as a small, mischievous creature appeared from the mist. The Sugar Gremlin was a tiny, candy like creature with sticky fingers and a sly grin. He was made of half-melted sugar and dark caramel, his eyes sparkled with mischief. “Why would you steal the sweetness?” Taffy asked, her voice filled with sadness. “This island needs its magic. Without it, we’ll lose everything.” The Sugar Gremlin chuckled. “Oh, but that’s exactly the point! The island was becoming too perfect.
