The world was rough for Rosie. The front porch she called home was noisy and cold, and other cats, lean and quick, fought for scraps and dry spots. She wheezed with every breath, her thin tail covered in dirt, and the ache inside her made moving feel impossible. Next door was a house Rosie often found herself near when the pain got too bad. Light spilled from its windows, and inside, a man and woman moved together, their faces kind but lined with sadness. Something about the house felt safe. One evening, Rosie collapsed near their yard, her body trembling, too tired to move. The man stepped outside, crouching near her with a plate of food. Rosie dragged herself forward, eating for the first time in days, her body shaking with the effort. “Poor thing,” the woman said softly, reaching out her hand but not touching Rosie right away. Page 7: Lizzy also struggled in class, she couldn’t focus on her sun safety class (she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework ) because of how fast her thoughts were moving. Page 8: (Miko and Lizzy struggled in class but their ADHD was an advantage!) After visiting Dr Wild, the Wildebeest, Miko and Lizzy learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Page 9: Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tells you what type of insect you are looking at! Page 10: Lizzy enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation. Page 11: Even though Miko and Lizzy had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best.

Zeke is afraid of the dark and sleeping by himself in his bedroom. Mom kisses him goodnight but Zeke is too scared to let her leave. She says hold on and returns with a gem. She says it's a magical dream gem and if kisses it, closes his eyes, and whispers what he wants to see in his dreams, then it will take him them there. She tucks him in and leaves his room. Zeke hides under his blanket and whispers "dragon" to the gem. He closes his eyes and when he opens them he is surprised to find himself in a cave. He doesn't feel like himself. He looks down and sees that he has transformed into a mighty dragon. He goes on a fun adventure before seeing the magical gem on top of a pile of treasure. He says goodbye to his new friends and grabs the gem. He closes his eyes again and when he opens them, he is back in bed waking up to a new day. He is no longer afraid of the dark and going to sleep as he is excited for what adventures are in store for him when he goes to sleep with his magical gem.

As the spaceship hovered above Mercury's surface, Sam said, "Henry, it's super hot here during the day. Temperatures can reach up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit!" "But at night," Henry added, "it gets really cold, as low as -290 degrees Fahrenheit. That's quite a swing! Imagine how difficult it would be to live here." Henry and Sam decided to wear their special space suits that kept them cool during the scorching day and warm during the freezing night. They stepped onto the planet's rocky ground, feeling a bit like explorers on a new world. While walking around, they spotted a small, friendly robot. "Hi there! I'm Mercury's Messenger. I was sent to gather information about this planet. Would you like to learn some fun facts?" "Sure!" Henry and Sam said in unison. "Mercury doesn't have an atmosphere like Earth," said the Messenger. "That's why its surface is covered in craters. The lack of air also means there's no wind, and the sky is always black, even during the day." "Wow! That's so different from Earth," Henry said. "How long is a day on Mercury?" The Messenger replied, "One day on Mercury lasts about 59 Earth days. But it orbits the Sun quickly, taking just 88 Earth days to complete one revolution. So, a year on Mercury is shorter than two Mercury days!" As they approached Earth, Henry said, "Sam, we learned so much about Mercury today! It's a fascinating place, but definitely not suitable for humans to LIVE." "You're right, Henry. But it was an incredible adventure, and I'm glad we got to explore it together," Sam replied with a smile.

Page 1 Xiaoming and Xiaohua joined a special tour. Their destination was Lung Yeuk Tau, a place full of history and beautiful scenery. Page 2 They got on the bus, excitedly looking at the view outside. The tour guide told them that there is a mountain shaped like a dragon jumping! Page 3 When they arrived at Lung Yeuk Tau, Xiaoming and Xiaohua first visited the old village called Lo Wai. The tall walls and narrow gate made them feel curious. Page 4 The guide told them stories about Lo Wai. In the past, villagers built these defenses to protect against pirates, making them feel very safe. Page 5 Next, they went to the Tin Hau Temple. Inside the temple were beautiful statues, and there were two ancient bronze bells used for praying for safety. Page 6 Xiaohua was especially interested in the stories about the Tin Hau Temple. She learned that villagers would take the statues out to parade during Tin Hau's birthday. Page 7 Finally, they visited the Songling Tang Kung Ancestral Hall. Xiaoming was amazed by the architecture and heard the touching story of Tang Songling. Page 8 At the end of the trip, Xiaoming and Xiaohua felt that this journey was very special. They hoped to come back to Lung Yeuk Tau one day to explore more stories!
