She is dressed in a pink skirt, white shoes, and a white top. Averi's favorite thing to do is play the guitar. There are no recurring side characters. The setting in the beginning of the book is an old, run-down village that Averi lives in. The art style should be cartoony but also realistic in some ways. In the book, Averi is seen in her village playing an old guitar but she's still happy because she loves making music. Next, Averi is in her Grandmother's old attic looking for toys when she comes across a chest. She opens the chest and inside is an antique guitar with whimsical and colorful engravings on it. She takes the guitar and starts playing it only to realize that the music is magical. The music makes the dead flowers out the window start to bloom, makes the birds start to sing, and makes the sun shine brighter. The tune then carries out the window of the attic and some of the passing villagers hear it and get put into good moods. People come from far and wide to hear Averi play the magic guitar and the village begins to turn more colorful and lively as a result. Then, one day a terrible drought goes through the village causing all the farmers to be sad. The farmers ask Averi to come and play her magic guitar to see if it might make their crops start to grow again. Averi then goes to play the guitar at a farm and all of a sudden it starts to rain down on all the crops causing them to all magically revive and grow. The villagers all cheer and dance to her music. From that day on, Averi uses her magic to bring joy and hope to everyone she meets.

Elara carefully freed Barnaby, and Barnaby hopped away, leaving behind a shiny, smooth pebble! "A pebble? For what?" wondered Elara. Near the top, a tiny bird, Pip, had lost its nest! Elara found some soft leaves and helped Pip build a cozy new home. Pip chirped happily and dropped a bright yellow feather! "A feather? Why?" Elara chuckled. Finally, Elara reached the top of Mount Gigglepuff! But oh no! She'd forgotten her juice box, her yummy sandwich, and her silly hat! She was SO sad. Then, she remembered the gifts! The bouncy ball became a super fun bouncy seat! The smooth pebble was perfect for skipping across the mountaintop! And the bright yellow feather? It made a super-duper sparkly hat! Elara ate her apple, feeling very happy. John Jr told Jade about the two commandments that says not to steal or not to lie. John Jr decided they would practice being more trustworthy by being straightforward, and not lying, cheating, or stealing. Jade share Bible verse Proverbs 12:22 "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." Jesus taught people that the truth will set them free from slavery to sin, self-rule, and self-justification. John Jr and Jade decided that it was very important to be truthful with God. Jesus felt honesty was a gift and loved to be around plainspoken and honest people. John Jr and Jade want to follow Jesus because he is the truth and speaks of the truth and love.

In the middle, they saw a glowing ball floating above a clear spring. “So pretty!” Shopie said. Scene 5 A soft spoken voice spoke “The Heart of The Forest helps those who care for the woods. Protect the forest, and it will protect you.” “We will,” Finn said. Scene 6 As they left, the forest felt warmer and brighter. Shopie bounced around happily. “See? We found it!” she said. Finn smiled. "Thank you, Sophie. I couldn’t have done it without you." Scene 7 From that day on, Sophie and Finn became best friends, always looking after the forest and each other.
